Reviews are never required in exchange for an ARC. If you enjoy the book and want to share your thoughts, honest reviews are enormously helpful for a debut — but any rating is welcome, and a review you didn't feel is worse than no review at all. Loved it, didn't love it, both are useful.
Reviews can go up on Goodreads at any time. Amazon reviews can only be posted from October 6, 2026, when the book is live.
If something's wrong with your copy — typos, formatting glitches, a chapter that ate itself — email me at belmingallauthor@gmail.com before you post about it. I'd rather fix it than wonder.

Not Falling Today is an open-door romance with a guaranteed happy ending. It contains:

What is an ARC?
An Advance Reader Copy: a free copy of the book sent out before release so readers can read and, if they'd like, review it early.
Who can sign up?
Anyone who reads romance and can finish a novella in about three weeks. You don't need a big following or a book blog.
What format will I receive?
An ebook (EPUB or MOBI) delivered through BookFunnel, which walks you through getting it onto your device.
Do I have to leave a review?
No. Genuinely. Reviews are voluntary and unreviewed ARCs don't affect whether you get offered future ones.
What should I say if I review on Amazon?
Just note that you received a free advance copy — something like “I voluntarily reviewed a complimentary ARC.” Please don't phrase it as a trade; Amazon removes reviews that read as incentivized, which helps nobody.
Can I share my copy with a friend?
Please don't — but send them Lights On instead. It's a free novelette, it's permanently free, and it's the perfect thing to hand someone.
What if I can't finish in time?
That's completely fine. Read it whenever, review whenever, or don't. Nothing happens.

- The copy is for you. Please don't upload it to file-sharing sites, sell it, or pass the file along. Recommending the book to people is very much encouraged; forwarding the file isn't.
- Reviews are voluntary. No review is required. If you post one, it must be your honest opinion, and any rating is welcome. You will never be asked for a positive review or a particular star rating.
- Disclosure. If you review on Amazon or elsewhere, note that you received a complimentary advance copy, in neutral language.
- Spoilers. If you post about the book before October 6, 2026, please use clear spoiler warnings.
- Copyright. The ARC remains the copyrighted property of Bel Mingall. It is an advance edition and may differ slightly from the final published book.
- Removal. Uploading, selling, or redistributing the file may mean not being offered future ARCs. Not reviewing will never affect your standing.
